Mark A. Henderson, MD, trained at Indiana University School of Medicine in radiation oncology and taught there for six years. He later moved to Oregon where he worked for a private practice and taught at Oregon Health and Science University. In 2018, Dr. Henderson returned to Indiana to be closer to family and to work for the Columbus Regional Health Cancer Center.

Dr. Henderson is skilled in gamma knife and linear accelerator-based radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, intensity-modulated radiotherapy, image-guided radiotherapy, 3D-conformal radiotherapy, partial breast brachytherapy and unsealed source radiotherapy. He is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.

Kelsey Finch, PharmD, BCOP, is an oncology pharmacist practitioner at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, Indiana. Dr. Finch serves as the Clinical Research Coordinator for in-house cancer trials, serves on the Cancer Committee with regards to Genetics and Clinical Research, and is an active member of several committees/boards including interdisciplinary tumor board, pharmacy and therapeutics committee, and USP 800 Compliance Initiative. Dr. Finch is active in several professional organizations, including serving on the Board of the Indiana Oncology Society (IOS), participating as an active member of the IOS policy committee, the Hoosiers for Safe Meds Coalition, and Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association.

Dr. Finch received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. She attained her Teaching Certificate from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed her post-graduate year 1 residency at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, Indiana. Dr. Finch’s interest in precision medicine led her to achieve the ACCP Oncology Genomics Certificate in 2022.

Mary Miller, MSN, RN-BC, OCN, has been a registered nurse for 27 years, working at Franciscan Health Indianapolis for 35. She has served as the inpatient oncology manager on a 26-bed unit since August 2017, prior to which, having served as the Indiana Blood and Marrow Transplantation Case Manager at Franciscan for 13 years, where she grew her passion for patient advocacy.

Mary co-facilitates a patient support group for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, has advocated on Capitol Hill on important issues impacting oncology patients, and has served on the IOS Board of Directors for four years as Member-at-Large and Secretary/Treasurer.

Dr. Sayuri Cheruvu is an oncologist at Michiana Hematology Oncology (MHO) located in South Bend. With a dedication to providing compassionate care, Dr. Cheruvu has been serving the South Bend community for the past 5 years.

Prior to joining MHO, Dr. Cheruvu embarked on a unique journey as a locum oncologist, undertaking long-term assignments in Guam and Alaska, where she honed her skills and broadened her experience in the field of oncology.

Born in Japan to Indian parents, Dr. Cheruvu&pos;s multicultural background is reflected not only in her personal life but also in her professional approach. Her first name, Sayuri, carries the essence of her Japanese connection. Her family relocated to India during her childhood, where she pursued her medical education.

Dr. Cheruvu completed her medical school training in India before moving to the United States to further her career. She completed her residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, followed by a fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, where she specialized in oncology.

Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Cheruvu finds joy in spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. She embraces a balanced lifestyle and enjoys indulging in hobbies such as sewing, traveling, and practicing yoga, which help her unwind and rejuvenate.

Dr. Cheruvu feels blessed to be an oncologist and appreciates the perspective on life that she gains from it.

Stephanie Cohen, MS, CGC, LGC, is a board-certified and licensed genetic counselor in the Cancer Genetics Risk Assessment Program at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned her MS degree in Genetic Counseling at the University of Michigan. Ms. Cohen developed a stand-alone cancer genetics program that now includes three full-time genetic counselors and a genetic counseling assistant. She has been working to improve access to cancer genetic services by implementing a collaborative process, utilizing a network of genetic counselor extenders throughout the Ascension St. Vincent Health system across the state of Indiana.

She is active in training genetic counseling students by serving as a clinical supervisor and research advisor. She is chair of the Research, Quality and Outcomes Committee of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and is a Section Editor for the Journal of Genetic Counseling. She has multiple publications in the field of cancer genetics and genetic counseling service delivery.

I was born and raised in a small town in Kentucky. After completing both my undergraduate education and medical school in my home state, I moved to St. Louis for my residency in internal medicine with a plan to pursue fellowship in hematology/oncology. My primary clinical and research interests are plasma cell disorders, malignant hematology and BMT. I am also interested in medical education and plan to pursue a career in academic medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends.

Melody Littrell has worked for the Deaconess Health System for nearly 30 years in various areas of the oncology service line. The last twelve years has been focused on program development and multidisciplinary care delivery models; specifically in the gynecologic and breast surgical oncology specialties. Currently, as the Oncology Operations Administrator, Melody is focused on a systemness approach to comprehensive cancer care across the 51-county service area that Deaconess Health System serves. With a passion for placing the patient at the center of decision-making, Melody prides herself for being an advocate for high-quality, cost-conscience multidisciplinary care. She is involved in many community coalitions and committees for addressing the needs of cancer patients in the tri-state communities.

Melody and her husband, Jason, reside in Boonville, Indiana and have one daughter and two grandchildren that also live in the community.
